Why should I hire a personal trainer?
People of all ages, body types and fitness levels can benefit from the services of a personal trainer. Research has proven that those who exercise with a personal trainer get their desired results sooner. A personal trainer helps you achieve your fitness goals by addressing your individual needs and requirements to immediately devise a plan of action personally suited just for you.

There is one basic truth to weight loss – You need to burn more calories than you consume. Our Target Metabolic Zone assessment tells you exactly how to do that (see more below). You’ll see precisely how many calories your body actually burns and calculate how many calories you should eat to maintain your weight or reach your ideal weight. We also offer Body Composition assessment to discover your body fat to body mass ratio. Over fat does not always translate to over weight. Our trained staff can help customize a program that meets your individual needs.

1 Hour Session - $60
30 Minute Session - $40
Partner / Group Training - $95 (1 hr) | $65 (30 min)
Partner/Group Training (Semi-Private training) is for friends, family members, couples or people who want assistance and want the benefits of having a personal trainer who will guide them during their workouts and are looking to share the experience and cost of personal training. Working out with a partner is a smart and affordable option to help you reach your goals by allowing you to meet with your trainer on a more frequent and consistent basis.
You can create your own group or we can create a semi-private group for you…whichever is easier.
During your semi-private sessions you will consistently be working towards your health and fitness goals by doing a great variety of exercises, from cardiovascular training and flexibility to core conditioning programs and coordination.
The semi-private sessions will have you moving in a variety of ways throughout the session. In some ways it can be more fun than working out alone since now you are not just accountable to your trainer, you are accountable to your partner or group as well! Motivation? Definitely!
Strength Training
Strength training is recommended for just about everyone , regardless or age or gender. A sensible strength-training program not only increases muscle mass and resting metababolic rate, which consequently helps reduce excess body fat, it also improves bone density, glucose metabolism, cholesterol levels, and blood pressure. It even helps reduce low-back and arthritic pain.
Metabolic Testing
At Winter Park Health & Fitness, we now offer Metabolic Testing with results in only 10 to 15 minutes. How does it work? You simply sit back, relax, and breathe out air into a plastic tube connected to a computer that analyzes how much oxygen your body has consumed. This is how your metabolic rate is measured. Once completed, your metabolic rate will be used to calculate your target caloric zones. These zones provide powerful information to help you lose weight. The bottom line for weight loss is that you need to burn more calories than you eat. The metabolic test will now provide you with the exact amount of calories to burn and to eat on a daily basis. Your body will be healthy, happy, and satisfied. Ask our staff about Metabolic Testing. Comfortable, effective and life-long weight loss is just a breath test away!
